About Traci

I am a healer.  I do not treat disease.  I create health.  And I create health by balancing the body.  I balance the body using the knowledge and principles of healing that I have acquired throughout my education.  I have a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and am a Board-Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist.  I am licensed by the State of California Acupuncture Board and am nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  I am also a Zone Technique practitioner and received my Advanced Certification in 2021 and my Mastermind Certification in 2022.  I provide acupuncture, Zone Technique balancing, cupping, and herbal medicine treatments in the Financial District of downtown San Francisco.

I obtained my Master’s Degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco in 2010.  I also have extensive training in the Master Tung Acupuncture system and primarily use this system of points in my acupuncture treatments.  I am trained in both Chinese herbal medicine and Western herbal medicine.  I have extensive training using Standard Process (whole food-based supplements) and Mediherb (Western herbal medicine) products and received my certification in Natural Functional Medicine from the Gaeta Institute in 2019.  While all of this education provided good results for my patients, incorporating the Zone Technique into my treatment protocols in 2018 catapulted those results from good to great.

While I address and balance the entire body in all of my treatments, I have a particular interest in creating digestive health, as it is my belief that most dis-ease in today’s society stems from a poorly functioning digestive system.  Other areas of interest to me are women’s health, restoring endocrine balance, improving the immune system, improving nervous system function and sleep quality, as well as restoring musculoskeletal health.

In my free time, I enjoy working on maintaining my own health and happiness.  You will see me frequenting the farmer’s market for local and organically grown food that I use in different recipes that I’ve spent hours researching.  I am a regular at my local yoga studio and you will find me popping in for a Bikram or Pilates class 4 times a week.  I have discovered a newfound pleasure in taking long walks along the beach, partly for the exercise and clearing my head, but mostly for the Vitamin D and to feel the salty air blowing in my face.  You will often find me near a dog… anyone’s dog.  They bring utter joy to my life!
